| In Juni 2012 ben ik 12 dagen naar Schotland geweest. Veel te kort om een hele grote verzameling foto`s te kunnen maken, je zit immers ook met het weer in Schotland wat nogal wisselvallig is, maar wel genoeg tijd om een kleine impressie van Schotland te laten zien hier. Ga je naar Schotland en wil je een mooie omgeving en wat mooie foto`s maken, dan kan ik je het gebied Glencoe heel erg aanraden! je hebt op een kleine afstand van elkaar veel dingen om te zien: Buachaille Etive Mor ( de berg) met leuke watervallen in de buurt. Even verderop heb je Rannoch Moor: een prachtig gebeid met allerlei meren en bergen op de achtergrond. Nog een stukje verder heb je de river orchy. Een rivier met hele grillige rotsformaties erin. Je vindt deze de afslag na Bridge of Orchy. Kortom,heel veel te zien in nog geen 15 km hemelsbreed! Daarna zijn we naar de Isles of skye geweest. Ook heel mooi, maar ik vond dat het het toch niet haalde bij Glencoe. Er zijn wel leuke dingen te zien als de fairy pools, een serie kristalheldere poelen en watervalletjes, natuurlijk de Old Mann of Storr, een mooie rotsformatie op het eiland (wel een behoorlijke klim!) en het mooie gebied "de Quiraing".Ga je ook naar Schotland en wil je nog wat weten?...dan kun je me altijd even mailen natuurlijk!
