| This is my Antwerp page. Antwerp is an impressive City with nice Gothic Buildings like "Our Lady Cathedral", from 1352. "The Steen", from the 13 th century at the Schelde, was used as an Prison from 1549 till 1813,
these modern days this is a Museum. The "Lange wapper" is posing in front of the Castle, known from the comic-book "Suske en Wiske". Nice places in Antwerp are the "Big Market" the heart of the City, with its nice "Gildehouses" (rebuild after a fire in 1576) and the "Groenplaats", the most popular square of Antwerp.
