| These are my pictures of Castle Doornenburg. People talked about "Villa Doronburc" already in the 9 th century. From this building the main castle developed in the 13th and 14th century and was completed in the 15th and 16th century. Adress castle Doornenburg: Kerkstraat 27, 6686 BS in Doornenburg, telephone: 0481-421456. Prices(2004): Adults 4 euro, kids till 12 year:2,50 Euro. Visit only with guided tour. Open: April till Oktober only on the Sundays: 13.30-14.30 and 15.30.
In July and August Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 11.00, 13.30, 14.30 and 15.30 hour. Contact castle Doornenburg or visit their website to see wether this still is correct! On my Germany page you will find some other nice (German) Castle`s!
