| Macrophotography is one of the nicest aspects of photography. I really like photographing all those small and sometimes creepy insects! Trying to take the insects sharp from from head to tail, and try to get a nice depth of field with it at the same time, that is the challenge! I use the canon 7D with the Canon 100mm macrolense to take my macrophotos.
It takes very sharp pictures, the lense is fast and crystal clear. I also thought of the Sigma 150mm lense, but this lense is so heavy that you will always nead a tripod to shoot a sharp picture and it doesn`t got that quick focus.
I often use a tripod, but when thats not an option, i take the picture without it, and that works fine with the Canon 100mm macrolens.
On the equipment page on the index in the menu, there is also a small a guide to improve your own macro-photos. Ofcourse i have also normal animalpictures, use the navigation on top of this page. I hope you like my macro-photography!
