 On this page something about me, Raym, a short name for my real name: Raymond. I was born in 1968 in Utrecht the Netherlands, i am living together for quite some years now, and i have 2 kids: Niels (1991) and Robert(1998). As you can see on my equipment-page i take my pictures with the Canon 40D with some nice lenses. I am the owner of a Canon 40D since January 2008, before that i owned the Canon 350D, the Canon 400D, a Nikon Coolpix 8700, en my first digital camera a Olympus C4000Z. Ik am a autodidact concerning photography, i just read a lot about it and tried a lot. Besides photography i like to watch movies on my homecinema, and i like to listen to music. In my jonger years i played snooker quite a lot, and was champion of my city once. My health isn`t always what i want it to be. Quite irritating sometimes, but also the reason i started photograhy, to relax. I am a positive thinker, and i just try to deal with the limitations that i have. My bigest problem is double-vision (horror fusionis), i have a prims on one of my glasses. Also i can`t absorb vitamin B12 , the illness of Addison-Biermer (pernicious anaemia or megaloblastic anaemia) In the mean time i found out that this is probably caused by a wheat intolerace. A long shortage of vitamine B12 can cause permanent damage to your nervous system. It is going much better now, but i always have to cope with some limitations.  Things i walked by in the past, i now notice immmediatly. Photography makes you look around much more! I enjoy nature,cities and the landscape much more then i used to. Some assignment that i have done: -made pictures of Castle Henkenshage, for promotion of the Castle. -provided various pictures to the university of Maastricht, for support of the course they give. -provided various pictures for a store called "houtbrox" for a photo exhibition. -provided various pictures for flyers and brochures -provided various pictures 6 times for the photomagazine Zoom.nl -provided 2 pictures for the photomagazine Focus, for the Juli/August number -done various photoshoots assignments.
