There are many castles in Limburg, the Landscape is beautiful, and there are several nice towns like Maastricht and Valkenburg, really worth a visit. There is also a nice trail, called the Mergelland route, which brings you to the nicest places in Limburg.
Enjoy Limburg...a little trip to Germany, Belgium or Luxembourg is also possible when you are in the South of Limburg.
