| In 1182 the city of Lisse exists out of 5 farms. Dirk van Kleef merries that year Margaretha,daughter of count Floris III, possibly in a
wooden tower at the exact spot of the current Huys Dever (Huys stands for house). In 1703 a heavy storm blows of the roof of the old House Dever. Lord Dirck Heereman van Zuydwijk restored it in 1767 and finds somebody to rent it.
He replaces the wooden bridge by a stone one. Noone wants to rent the Huys Dever, its not comfertable to live in and to expensive.
In 1848 a part of the castle colapses, and all the stones from it are stolen and used for other things.
