| This is my page with pictures of the Eiffel Tower and Hotel des invalides. The Eiffel Tower was build for the worldexhibition in 1889. The tower,wich is 324 meters high and has 1792 stairs to the top, gives you with clear weather a view of no less then 70 kilometers (about 47 miles) ! Hotel des Invalides is a complex of very nice gardens, three different musea, a church and ofcourse the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte. They start building the militair hospital in 1671 and the famous dome was build between 1676 and 1706.
