Castle Eijsden was build in 1636. Castle Eijsden lies in the most southern point of the Netherlands, close to the Belgium border and 8 miles from Maastricht. The castle is build in Maaslandse renaissance style, a typical style fot that area. The castle is private property, but you can visit the castle-squarre and walk around the castle. Adress: Gr. de Geloeslaan 2, Laag-Caestert in Eijsden.
